The syringe filter is a kind of filtration product used to remove impurities from sample solutions before they enters HPLC process, which can prevent impurities from blocking the chromatographic columns, protect HPLV instruments, and prolong the lifetime of chromatographic columns.

A  syringe filter has to be used together with a disposable injector, as a whole set of disposing device to filter small-volume samples in labs.
